* This kit is designed to use the crank pulley from a K20 Type R or a medium sized K20A2. 
* If using a larger crank pulley you may need to use a longer belt 
* The 505 kit requires you to mount the electric water pump and source the coolant line from pump to plate depending on where the pump is mounted. You can utilize the supplied -12AN 90 degree fittings for your custom line.


Back in 2006 we originally designed our K-Series Water Plate Kit that ran D/B Series alternator. We have revisited the project to breathe some new life into it. We constantly strive to improve and bring the very best to our customers and racers. The original design is still for sale today and that will not change. However, we have brought some nice new options with the ability to run a k-series alternator. The V2 kit can be installed on your original K-Tuned Water Plate *EXCLUDING* some original designs for those who want to upgrade to a k-series alternator. 

For several years now racers have used electric water pumps to reduce the power robbing effects of parasitic drag from their engines. The reason is pretty simple, by reducing the number of accessories the crank needs to turn there can be some noticeable and impressive gains. The K-Tuned Water Pump Block Off Plate system was designed to setup a K-series engine to use an electric water pump cooling system. It replaces all of the bulky and heavy OEM accessories with a simple lightweight aluminum plate. The original alt bracket setup was designed to hold the older and lighter B or D series alternator and works well. The only difference is a little extra work for installation, so we decided to design a compatible alternator bracket setup that works with the original oem K-Series alternator. 

This updated kit features a fully adjustable tensioner with an integrated pulley that mounts cleanly on the left side of our original Water Plate. The lower alt bracket then easily bolts up to existing holes on most K20 and K24A engine blocks. The result is a setup that is much simpler to install, with no additional parts or wiring needed. With the new version of this kit, We have upgraded our mounting hardware to include a larger ARP  upper alternator mounting bolt, as well as 2 sets of larger bolts depending on which style K series alternator you have, for the lower mounting bracket. There are 2 mounting positions available to allow proper fitment with most stock crank pulleys. For the alternator, we made a lightweight CNC machined 6061 billet aluminum alternator pulley to replace the heavy oem unit. We have also included a custom length 7-rib belt, that fits with most oem crank pulleys and all hardware for installation. As a final bonus, check out our custom billet water pump bracket, it has been designed to hold our K-Tuned electric water pump right beside the plate setup. Just like the other brackets, this bolts up perfectly to existing holes on most K20 and K24A engine blocks. We can now confidently say that the K-Tuned Water Plate Kit is more complete than ever.

If by any chance, your package that has been delivered by the carrier is lost/stolen, YOU (THE BUYER) are responsible for working with the carrier and us, Tri-State Motorsports to recover your package. You must contact us and the shipping company within 48 hours of delivery for lost/damage claims. You are covered by the basic insurance amount APPROVED by the shipping center. We DO NOT refund or reship product for claims that are denied by the shipping company.

How Does Route Work?

If your Route-protected order ends up lost, damaged, or stolen, Route's expert support team helps ensure that your order gets replaced or refunded as preferred. Claims will be reviewed for approval within 1-2 business days form filing.

How Does Route Process Refunds or Reorders?

Refunds: When refunding an item, Route covers the subtotal, shipping, and taxes.

In both cases, the Route Premium cost will not be refunded.

Reorders: Route will reorder the items, depending on in-stock availability. Unavailable items will be refunded. Route will cover the cost of any reorders including shipping, taxes, and Route Shipping Protection.

When Should I File a Claim?

Stolen (or any package that has been marked as delivered but your customer cannot locate)

  • Your customers have up to 30 days from when the package was marked as delivered to file a claim. Claims will not be approved before 5 days after the package has been marked as delivered giving the carrier time to "actually" drop off the package or for neighbors to return it in the case that it was delivered to the wrong address.

Stuck in Transit (Lost)

  • Your customers have up to 30 days to file a claim.
  • Domestic packages are not considered lost until after the 7th day without a tracking update.
  • International packages are not considered lost until after the 20th day without a tracking update.

Damaged

  • Your customers have up to 30 days to file a claim after the package has been marked as delivered.
  • For damage claims, we do require photo evidence of damage so we can verify that the product was actually damaged.

What if My Order Never Arrives, Is Stolen, or Arrives Damaged?

When will my product ship out?

Unless the product is manufactured by Tri-State Motorsports or TSM Race, ALL Warranties go through the Manufacturer directly.
