No, it’s not off a fighter jet…

But we wouldn’t blame you for thinking so. This is a Hybrid Racing Shifter for the Honda Prelude and Accord. Similar to a part of the aerospace industry, it is made to be exceptionally strong while saving weight wherever possible. The links are made from 6061-T6 aluminum with stainless steel ball bearings for a quiet operation with no need for lubrication. The frame that it sits on is constructed from steel, making it incredibly rigid, however, as is evident in the design, the topology has been optimized to reduce weight. The result is a sturdy shifter that inspires confidence as you row through the gears.

When it comes to adjustability, our shifters truly shine. This shifter can reduce throw anywhere from 20% to 40% (below stock throw). Gate spacing (left-right shifter motion) can be reduced by up to 5%. Along with shifter feel, proper ergonomics are also a major emphasis. With just the turn of a single 5mm Allen wrench, you can adjust the position of your shift knob to be 10mm to 30mm taller than stock. With the same Allen wrench, you can rotate the shift knob position, bringing it closer to or further from the steering wheel. Every driver is different, so we allow them the flexibility to tailor their setup.

Shifter Cables

To get the most out of your shifter, Hybrid Racing Shifter Cables replace the OEM cables with improvements from end to end. Solid rod ends, permanently lubricated core, and aluminum end links give them a firmer, tighter feel over the OEM. This provides greater feedback to the driver for a more tactile connection with the transmission.

Other notable features include upgraded stainless steel swivel support tubes (OEM are plastic) known to break on the factory cables. All of the rod ends and mounting bushings are CNC machined 6061 aluminum, then anodized black before being laser etched with the Hybrid Racing logo for style.

What is included with these shifter cables?

The kit comes with two shifter cables; each set includes two cotter pins and clips for the shifter end. We also include new hardware for the shifter cable mounting plates that attach to the transmission bracket.

If by any chance, your package that has been delivered by the carrier is lost/stolen, YOU (THE BUYER) are responsible for working with the carrier and us, Tri-State Motorsports to recover your package. You must contact us and the shipping company within 48 hours of delivery for lost/damage claims. You are covered by the basic insurance amount APPROVED by the shipping center. We DO NOT refund or reship product for claims that are denied by the shipping company.

When will my product ship out?

Processing takes about 3 to 5 days before your order ships. Some orders may take longer than usual to process and ship. If you order an item that's on backorder, we will reach out with an estimated arrival time. Refunds are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Cancellations are subject to 10% cancellation/processing fee under no exceptions.

What's the Warranty on our products?

Unless the product is manufactured by Tri-State Motorsports or TSM Race, ALL Warranties go through the Manufacturer directly. Please visit their official website and get in contact with them in regards to your warranty. We will supply you with any invoice or tracking information the manufacturer asks you for.
